Why is the energy performance of my new build important?

Aside from a SAP assessment being a legal requirement, your comfort and eventual costs will depend on how much you invest in energy efficiency. You will also be doing your bit for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

When do I start to consider energy choices?

From early in the design stage. This is because the most cost-effective solutions can influence your design choices.

What information do you need to provide a quote?

A copy of your architectural plans, and if applicable, the building regulations submission package. You can email attachments to Julie@juliehill.org.uk

What stages does your quote cover?

The quote will cover assessing the plans and suggesting improvements so that the plans pass the requirements. When your house is built, it covers making the final assessment to produce your EPC certificate.

How long does the assessment take?

I aim to complete the design stage assessment within ten days, or earlier by arrangement.

Does your service include advice on achieving compliance?

Absolutely, I quote to include advice and specification revisions. I'm here from start to finish to ensure you get your EPC certificate.
